This piece combines a minimalistic Cello-Melody with a polymetric texture played by the beatstep pro on the Moog Subharmonicon. I use the modular rack to expand the Subharmonicons output polyphonically, and I use the Yamaha MT8X to spread out the individual voices across the stereo field. While experimenting with the cassette, I discovered that it produced this beautiful background noise, over which I recorded the Synth. The viola da gamba adds some pulse and a little bit of drama in the second part.
